Christian Military Wives is a supportive, faith-based community dedicated to encouraging and equipping military wives to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ while navigating the unique challenges of military life, such as frequent relocations and separations. Guided by the principle of blooming where God plants us, our members and supporters are actively engaged in this ministry, fostering spiritual growth, fellowship, and mutual support within the military community.

Membership Agreement

Christian Military Wives (CMW) is an association of women committed to uplifting and encouraging military wives and their families to love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ, no matter where life takes them. CMW embraces women connected to all branches of the United States Armed Forces, including spouses, mothers, and extended family members. Within the military community, our members work to introduce others to Jesus Christ, nurture spiritual growth, and provide practical support, helping each other bloom in faith through every season and station of military life.

What We Believe

  1. We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  2. We believe that the Old and New Testaments, as originally written, are the verbally inspired Word of God, and we accept them as the supreme and all-sufficient authority in faith and life.

  3. We believe that man was created in the image of God, but sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is eternal separation from God; and that each human being is born with a sinful nature and cannot by their own efforts please God.

  4. We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, was born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true man.

  5. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins as our vicarious sacrifice in accordance with Scripture, and that all who believe in Him are cleansed of their sins by His shed blood and are justified before God.

  6. We believe that all who by faith receive the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit and so become children of God, to live with Him through all eternity.

  7. We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into heaven, and in His present life there as our High Priest and Advocate.

  8. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust; the eternal blessedness of the saved; and the everlasting, conscious punishment of the lost.

  9. We believe in the personal, visible, and glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ to this earth.

Guidelines for Ministry

In pursuit of the objectives of Christian Military Wives and our call to "Bloom Where You Are Planted," we advocate the following guidelines for ministering to one another within our community:

  1. Encourage and support members in maintaining personal Bible study, prayer, and obedience to God, helping them flourish in faith despite the upheaval of frequent moves.

  2. Foster a deep commitment to the spiritual and emotional well-being of their families, recognizing the family as a foundational worshiping community in God’s plan, wherever they are stationed.

  3. Encourage members to support their spouses’ military duties while seeking God’s guidance to thrive in balancing family, faith, and service through every transition.

  4. Promote the formation and maintenance of local CMW fellowships for regular Bible study, prayer, and sharing, creating safe spaces for mutual encouragement that help members bloom in new communities.

  5. Support military chaplains through prayer and encouragement, and actively participate in chapel programs and faith-based community events at each duty station.

  6. Share the love of Jesus Christ with other military wives and families through compassionate outreach and personal testimony, helping others find hope and faith in new places.

  7. Encourage members to minister to the spiritual, emotional, and practical needs of military families, including those of allied forces, as they settle into new locations.

  8. Foster a culture of personal ministry, where members support one another through prayer, listening, and practical help during deployments, relocations, or other challenges, enabling all to bloom where they are.

  9. Promote “pray and plan” sessions among local CMW leaders to seek God’s guidance in directing ministry efforts and supporting members through every move.

  10. Invite friends, relatives, and supporters to participate in CMW activities through associate membership, amplifying our mission to help military wives bloom in faith and community.

To join, please review our Statement of Faith and complete the membership form. Together, we can grow in faith, support one another, and bloom where we are planted in the military community.
