The brown of the feminine form, combined with the leaves, hints to the strength of a tree that rises up to provide shade to those nearby, and a safe home to those who would abide within.
The woman we see stands with arms raised to God as she offers herself, and all she does, to God. With one hand closed in a fist of strength and power that says she is stronger than her circumstances, she also extends an open hand of welcome, friendship, and love.
The leaves that surround her are the lives that God affects through her. The cross within her reminds us that all of this is only possible when Christ dwells within us and is the reason, inspiration, purpose, and goal of all that we do.
The purple of our page and of our logo text is a nod to the military heritage that has brought us together. A military installation which includes the support of all of the Uniformed Service — Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard-- is more commonly referred to as a "Purple Installation" or a "Purple Base". In the use of this purple we show that we are made up of wives of every military service.
